dvdfab 8 QT problems

I have Dvdfab 8 installed on my computer running Windows XP service pack 3. When I tried to install Dvdfab 8 QT, (since March 2011 when it first came out) It installed ok but It will not work. When I click on the Icon, it won't open and sometimes locks my computer up.I have coninually tried to update the QT versions with each update since March 2011 but I still get the same results. I have Dvdfab 8 installed so I don't know if you can't have both installed at the same time or not. I would appreciate any help with this problem. Thanks!
