The easiest way to do this is with Nero vision express which is part of the Nero 6.0 version, it will take quite a long time in doing it but it will convert your files no matter what type they are into the m-peg two format which is needed for dvd burning.

Good luck

First of all I am assuming you have a dvd burner installed.

Nero Vision Express is a very easy to use step by step dvd burner. There are many ways to do this but I would probably follow the route of throwing your vcd's back on to your computer, go to make dvd on Nero vision express/ go to add video files/ browse to your vcd's and add them/ and then just click the next button until you hit the burn page. The only other thing really is,In Nero Vision Express if you click on More, then click on Configure there are two directory locations. Be sure to point both of these to a location with plenty of space. You need at least twice the space of the file you are working. So if you have a 4 Gig Video file, you need an ADDITIONAL 8 GIG of tempoary space. If the directories aren't big enough it will choke.

Good luck
