My goal is to burn 7 episodes of something onto a DVD such that it can be read on a standard DVD player. These episodes are currently in individual AVI files with a combined size of 1.07GB. Following the guides on this site, I am inclined to want to merge them together into one AVI file before converting to MPEG-2 streams.

1) Is it neccessary to do so? Must a DVD only have one VOB file?

2)When I attempt to merge the files using VideoDub 1.5, the resulting file appears like it will be 25GB. I always stop the process long before it gets to that point. Am I missing an option or a setting somewhere?

Thanks in advance for any help.
