According to Digitimes, Nokia is preparing to enter the Windows 8-on-ARM market, with their own tablet by the end of the year.
The tablet will be powered (obviously) by Windows 8, and run on a dual-core Qualcomm SoC.

Hhhm... Dell, now Nokia. If memory serves (& it really doesn't) HP is out of the market, who else tot follow? Windows as a PC OS have always been a staple, but this 'catch-all' OS is a candidate for calamity waiting to happen. Especially as there have been two players in the fray solidly for 2 years now.
I'm a huge fan of Windows, but I really hope they don't step in it on this one seeing as there are manufacturers stepping up to the plate as well.
Well, If I'm going to be forced into a tablet... (and it looks like that is pretty much going to happen) then a full OS tablet would be my choice.
So, I might be interested in an x64 Windows 8 tablet, but not an ARM tablet.
Any tablet I get would have to have all the features of a laptop. Meaning dual monitor HDMI support. FULL USB and SD card support. Offline support.
