FINALLY! Someone took a breath, stood back, is actually reading the thing & didn't cave in to greed or the heavy handed industries that benefit solely from the use of this legislation.

Here's hoping the ECJ acts properly.
They have a fairly good track record of standing up for the little guy against Gov's & corporations.

The UN is united nations.

This treaty is only form the USA when an outside country wants to do a free trade agreement with the USA.

so has nothing to do with the UN.

It'll probably be altered but passed on the altered version as the USA won't allow trade between itself and another country if they don't sign the ACTA.

It's about protecting USA companies from people or out side USA companies from stealing and using USA companies products or designs.

The whole piracy thing is only a tiny bit.
