i have a bunch on files on my coputer. video files that my friends sent me and stuff like that. i want to burn them on dvd with my dvd burner, so i can watch them on my dvd player on my t.v

i have nero burning program , and when i add the files to a new complation nero says complation may not w ork on a dvd player.

i think they are the wrong file types. i am computer illeterate so any help would be fantastic a nd i thank you very much
