The FBI has made it clear today that all Internet users should check their PCs for infection by the "DNSChanger" malware, which is expected to leave 350,000 people without Internet past July 9th. The malware is a DNS redirector, and at its peak infected over 4.2 million computers. link doesn't work, get a "Service Unavailable. Please try again later." error message.

Don't listen to SmaryJerry... I was using FireFox & I have it so tweaked out with AdBlock & No Script that it sends back the same error message; but when I fired up Google Chrome it reported back that I was just fine.

I recommend firing up another browser & seeing if the URL goes ahead & works. If one or another browser doesn't work... THEN start to worry.

my ie8 comes up with that error but my firefox 3.6.24 links ok & says i'm ok.

350,000 seems like a small number of pc users; maybe they have no business using the internet in the first place and we'll probably see a decline in posts here at afterdawn

So much for the user who claimed only a moron could get a virus because they shouldn't click on stupid icons and such. On the other hand there could easily be over 4 million morons in the world.

Here is a good site that will check your computers vulnerability.I got it from an IT specialist.
