With the current retail price US$7-10 per disc, DVD+R DL discs can deliver gross margin of more than 50%, Yeh pointed out.

That's great if the price will be $7-10 per disc. Better than $15/disc.

ya, thats what happens when more companys get involved, competition drives prices down. :)

Still a pretty high price to pay. By the end of the year it`ll probably be half that. Doesn`t realy make much sense to pay the premium at this time. Imagine how many regular DVD R disks you can buy for the price of one DL
