Toshiba has finally revealed the ultrabook they teased at CES, the Satellite U845. The ultrabook will be the cheapest available, at a $699 MSRP. For your money, you get a 14-inch display with 1366 x 768 resolution and a 500GB hard drive. The boot drive is a 16GB SSD for faster start-up. I love my new Asus with I7 2600, 6GB RAM, 1920x1080, 750GB 7200 HDD, Bang and Olufson ICE speakers and durable as can be with a tight-ass hinge for the monitor.........all of which I paid 400 more than this P.O.S.

Toshiba makes garbage now.

I had a Toshiba laptop a few years ago. Full of bloatware, and we had endless problems with it. It died in less than 2 years. I won't buy a Toshiba again.
