Ritek G04 inkjet printables?

Hello everyone. I recently purchased a NEC ND-2510a burner and an epson r200 and am currently looking for some quality printable media. I've been reading around the forums and most people agree that ritek is the way to go. I use verbatim for cd-r's but for dvd-r's they're a little out of my price range. Anyway, I was reading the reviews of the Ritek G04 printables on supermediastore.com and some of the people said that the surface of the disc was too smooth and would result in the discs looking like they were printed on glass. Has anyone had experience with these discs? Have they changed the surface recently?
Also, I was looking at the prodisc's and they seem to be pretty nice (and cheap!). Again, what are some of your opinions about the prodiscs. I haven't really seen too much said about.
Well enough of my ranting. Thanks in advance for any help!

i personaly have used quite a few ritek g04 printable dvd-r discs in my epson r200 and they seem to print fine can't give you an answer on the prodisc as i have never used them
