RIM has announced a significant milestone for its line of BlackBerry devices. The company says the BlackBerry App World has reached 3 billion downloads, growing from 2 billion at the beginning of the year. App World only has 90,000 apps and customers are downloading at a rate of 2.5 million per day. As a regular BB user, this is slightly encouraging. The phones are not a s bad as Apple fanboys try to make them out to be, and offer unparalleled security features that are miles ahead of the "buy an app for that" crowd.
