Three, not s*** has come out recently. There was Diablo III. That was about it as far as quantity sold, not quality.

Doesn't help when you treat your customers like criminals and gouge their wallet at the same time.

Churning out the same old crap year after year...just look at Fifa or ISS as a perfect example. Then you have COD which IMO is getting worse. Every 1st person game is just a clone of the next with different maps.
The market is saturated with the same games but with different names.
That is part of the reason why the new consoles will be out next year to get people buying again.

Kinda filing in redundantly behind everyone else - skipping like a broken record on returning titles like summer sequels, 80s consumerism "screw'em" business models, hope & return of Reagun-Bush-Bush free-for-all money grubbing sellouts...

It's basically a desperate need for a change in over all public mentality. Some of it a cal for class unification (if you will), some ethical treatment across the classes (NOT moral, that stays in your home) & basically a call to going back to whipping some kids asses.

All this blathering might seem as though it has nothing to do with a loss in game sales, but sans what others have already stated, if people aren't working, they have no money to spend on luxuries & if the luxuries are lousy - well, you see how it the cycle just repeats itself.

Kill the majority of the "good ol boy" network, return as much of the Common Sense nature to doing things (& treating people) as you can back into the business & a equilibrium might come back.

It's the assholes that think they're better than the rest that are f*king it up for the majority.
