Yeah, they're leaving R&D in Sweden where they can be completely ignored by Japan, and they can continue running their company terribly.

The amount of money Sony Ericsson were losing is ridiculous; they need to actually improve their products and the way they run their company, not just fire people.

While my experience is not vast I know of no people who have been happy with Xperia phones. In addition my partner currently has an Xperia U and it crashes 80% of the time when she tries to make calls.

I am not surprised they are starveling.

My first thought when they said it was 1000 people being fired was that it was the 'customer service division'. Man, am I blushing.
