Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S III, Note and Note 10.1 will be getting Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, soon.
Each of the devices is currently running on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich.
During their IFA press conference, the company said the updates are coming "very soon" but did not elaborate on a precise time frame.

The ICS is good for updates because they only need to come from the device maker not the carrier anymore, so you just get OTA updates when they release them.

What has the type of Android OS the phone runs got to do with Apple.....or for that matter a lawsuit that only applies to the US as far as the rest of the world is concerned?
You can already have it on a rooted SGS2 so why not just hurry up & do the official release?
