Record label Century Media has sued 7000 torrent users this week for allegedly downloading and sharing music from the metal groups Iced Earth and Lacuna Coil. Century Media has used Jay R. Consider it free advertising.

Wonder what Lacuna Coil and that other no name band thinks of the legal actions. If they're jagoffs like Metallica then their opinions don't matter to me.

Good luck; judges have proven rather hostile to this type of litigation. Furthermore, nearly every defendant who has bothered to go to court, rather than settle, has prevailed against the plaintiffs.
