Here is the situation, I could use help with.

I have imported video into "Windows Movie Maker" and created a movie. (FYI: I know the program sucks, but I thought I would try it.) Now I have a movie that I created a DVD of using Ulead's "DVD Workshop SE". The titles and graphics look terrible.

How can I 1) still use the movie I created to create a DVD, e.g. what software and file formats (It is okay if I create new titles, but the edit is already done) and 2) in the future what software and file formats for editing, menu creation, and burning would be recommended.

Thanks. I have been working on this for days.
