RIM has announced an official BlackBerry 10 event for January 30th. The company will launch the long-delayed mobile operating system on that day, says CEO Thorsten Heins, with the launch being a global one. if BB10 cannot show some good productivity features, i am sure RIM is gonna die. this is probably last opportunity for RIM since other OSs are proved to be (excellent) toys with little productivity.

I think RIM is already going to inevitably die......this seems to be a last ditch effort.

oh well, i don't think so. BB still has some features liked by many people; this is why BB still sells to the corporates. with BB10, if they can show business productivity, they may be winner. iOS/android/winRT devices are still toys since they don't even have a good office app.

LOL maybe Palm will come out with a new OS too.

To have a chance at all, BB10 would have to be at the very least as good as iOS or Android - which I doubt will happen.

Realistically, it will have to be BETTER than those OSs if Blackberry hopes to take back market share. I seriously doubt that will happen.
