Demonoid's tracker has returned to functionality.
After being taken down three months ago, in a raid that many thought would be the last nail in the coffin for the semi-private torrent tracker, thousands of torrents have returned.
The site's index and forum remain down, however, as the team works to bring the entire site back online.

Like everyone else I've also been waiting for Demonoid to return. Most of you guys seem very well informed about its current status. People like me, and I'm only a guy from the land of Oz, rely on your info, so when you get asked the same question remember that its really only our frustration and impatience giving way to common sense. We do appreciate your input.

If you read all the posts above you'd notice TorrentFreak is the best for news concerning anything to do with these sorts of things.
Its a lot easier being righteous than right.

There's an (apparently) name rip-off site that uses the demon and the name that I linked in an earlier post, but it's only an indexer site and most likely not the beginning of the comeback of the REAL Demonoid.

Jemborg, I don't understand your agro, bloke. All I said was that many peeps are frustrated and impatient with the wait. I didn't mean to offend anyone especially a fellow Ozzie. TPB appears to be the only alternative. And yep, I did read all of the earlier comments prior to posting, and I appreciate the time and effort that the others, including yourself, have taken in helping the novices like myself with answers and advice.

Perhaps I shouldn't be so touchy! Must be the "not knowing" and frustration! Demonoid was and still appears to be very popular. Just goes to prove, you dunno what you got til you loose it huh. Stay safe mate, keep up the good work.

Just had a look at Torrentfreak and there is no news on Demonoid, as we knew it, being back. There is a site that I found, (www.demonoid.mk) which, when you go through the motions then asks for credit card details! The genuine Demonoid didn't do this so be warned or at least be careful. In the meantime, be patient.
