HTC... I dunno. Their customer support hasn't been the best for me.

Seems so awesome, but I just can't imagine owning an HTC after working my way up through the Galaxy S series. I think that having a screen resolution that high will slow everything down trying to keep up with that, IDK.

Will this only work with Verizon though?

I definitely hope they come out with a world version soon then. Or something that works with AWS at least.

This is stupid.

Nice specs...too bad my old phone died when it did, forcing me to upgrade to a S3 a month ago...so many nice phones coming out now. Of course, even if my old phone was still going, I would probably skip this one for the Note II.

This looks much better than the Nexus 4 in my opinion. Aesthetically especially. It looks thinner and cleaner for sure. I'm happy with my GS3, the Note2 was too big, the Nexus 4 is ugly, but this phone seems pretty promising.

Again, HTC shoots themselves squarely in the foot with carrier exclusivity. Unsurprising, but sad.

This is the beginning of the end for android, non-removable batteries, no SD card slot here, and Verizon... three strikes!!! Clearly Nexus and HTC want to be Apple, and thus Windows 8 will have an opportunity to shine instead of stumble, but only time will tell.

@harhumph, how is this the end for android?

Yes htc appear to be sticking to their guns regarding removable batteries (or non in their case).

Considering most other android handset suppliers are still happy to give you a battery you can replace/upgrade and an SD slot how does one android handset manufacture not doing this give windows 8 rt a better or worse chance to shine or more likely dimly glow.

1080p on a 5" screen, wow that's all kinds of pointless, 720p on phone looks fantastic so to go sharper is just taxing the CPU unnecessarily cos who has eyes good enough to appreciate it!
