Google clearly does not know how to prepare for selling a phone

article published on 27 November, 2012

Having lost out on the phone the first time around as Google's servers crashed and burned, I figured they must have prepared ... [ read the full article ]

But no, you're right, that's not good enough.

So are you expecting it to ship on the 13th Jan or are you going to cancel your order? I'd planned on buying one in January - I guess not! Haha.

Wow, get your shit in gear, Google. Why are they presenting themselves so poorly for such a huge event? Shame, shame.

Forget the phone. Isn't g000gle trying their best at coming out with an operating system to replace windows?

I assume they are using there own server software behind the scene and that is more the issue with their servers..... The phone isn't really at risk here but their hopes of competing and offering a replacement Operating System?

Anyway, the likelihood that Chrome OS' cloud services use the same servers as the Play Store webstore/payment stuff? Doubt it.

You would think that they would have their own dedicated servers for this alone, but again, I'm not Google, nor do I think like them!!

Google should stay out of the hardware market and learn to take Kiyosaki's advice of "minding their own business." It just might be their undoing, or are they "too big to fail?"
