Unofficially revealed last month, Huawei has officially unveiled their 6.1-inch 720p beast, the Ascend Mate.
The device has the largest screen yet of any smartphone, and the company claims it takes up 73 percent of the front of the phone.

well, i thought the same for samsung note II, too but now i have started liking the phablet concept. i will wait for rumored samsung note III 6.3" to see which fits me better.
reading even a complex powerpoint slide is comfortable in samsung note phablets without killing ultra-portability; holding against ear feels awkward but i think i can get used to as long as i don't drop the device owing to its bulkiness.
