According to reports, the upcoming rumored Nokia EOS will be the first Windows Phone 8 device to feature the company's PureView camera tech.
The company's previous PureView phone, the 808, featured a 41MP camera.
Reports suggest that the new device will have something similar if not somewhat smaller, possibly a 36MP sensor or so.

I would consider a Windows Phone like this. I currently have a Nokia Lumia 710 and I like it, but before I would actually buy another Windows Phone, Microsoft really needs to focus on getting their app market on par with Android and iOS. And by par I mean quality and not quantity. For example, with the standard twitter app from twitter, it crashes a lot, fails to send your tweet with no notification, and you can't even save a tweet as a draft. In the ~3 years I've used Android, I don't remember the twitter app ever not having that feature, nor have that many issues...

I think he means purview in the sense with the hardware to back it up not just some fancy camera software. I think it'll be around 22 MP but alas Nokia phones are always so thick.
