France's Commission Générale de Terminologie et de Néologie has announced that they do not appreciate the term "hashtag" on Twitter and will instead use a local term, "mot-dičse." The term hashtag relates to words and phrases that follow the # symbol and can help others find causes or more easily find posts. Because everyone know that all you have to do is tell people to quit using a word to make them stop.
Once again, no one "gets" the French.
