Iceland is mulling blocking 'violent pornography' in the country, setting itself up as a pioneer of state-sponsored censorship of material deemed inappropriate by.. the state?
There's no doubt that Iceland is a progressive country; it has an openly gay prime minister for example, and it also topped the list of the Global Gender Gap Report in 2012 that assesses countries on how well they ... [ read the full article ]

Actually i find this funny you think your going to block it with ip address filtering and web blocking software but what you dont understand users will just change there ip address block you from seeing it and still download and upload porn so you haven't really stopped anything now for banning sex workers good job on that one but you have problems still they will just advertise underground so you really didn't stop anything again huh.
Remember this saying.
"the more planets you distroy the more will rise up against you"
Samething can be applied to this because adults should have the right to enjoy adult entertainment i understand your worried about the child aspect of it but you need to pass laws that punish people for producing child smut which you dont this is why they are getting away with it in several country's because the goverment wont do anything about it when they need to.
You know, some folk in here may find me to be an ogre, but when I was raising my kids I was one of those parents who CREATIVELY didn't censor what my kids got into.
That's not to say I just let them run hog wild & start swearing like sailors during Easter Mass or tape their eye lids open & force them to watch the raunchiest porn imaginable... Let's keep things in perspective here.
But let's be serious, if they wanted to see Robocop because the gun toting robot was really cool & no amount of hiding the VHS box was going to undo the mystique that their little brains had already painted.
So, as a PARENT, I sat down, played the "making of" the movie first, so they could see that it was adults playing make believe & then I played the movie. Adult language was addressed & tutored as being used by adults in adult situations. Not really for the place for kids. Kids have their own language. Problem solved.
When it came time for sexual conversations, we kept it to the subject at hand. Most parents want to fly off the hand & grab every flow chart in the known hemisphere. Most parents are also scared shitless that their kids are going to ask for sexual techniques. RIGHT! Like that is ever going to happen.
If folks would explain to their kids the beauty of the human body then there might be a good chance they wouldn't go out racing to find the deviancy. I mean, sure, not EVERY time, but there is porn out there that celebrates human life rather than bed knobs & broom sticks and how far can we snake the toilet.
Facts are, if we appeal to ones primal nature early on with the correct 'tone' then the need for stupidity won't be there. Thus, the lesser need for deviancy, or one would hope.

Awesome. IF I ever have kids, I would do the same.
Someone told me once that theres a right and wrong, and that punishment would come to those
who dare to cross the line.
But it must not be true for jerk-offs like you.
Maybe it takes longer to catch a total asshole.
