Google launches Play hardware store for India

Google has opened up its Play hardware store to Indian buyers. Just days after opening up the Google Play Books store, buyers in India can now purchase some Google hardware to read it with. The first device available is the popular Nexus 7 tablet, but only the 16GB Wi-Fi model. Google is selling the tablet for 15,999 rupees ($294) with an estimated delivery by April 5th. [ read the full article ]

let's hope google starts offering stuffs in india as soon as it is released in US/UK. i am surprised they did not start with nexus phones. we need to see pure android here!

Hello India! Yes it's about time considering the progress India is making.

india is well advanced as compared to US as far as the use of mobile technology is concerned. it is only indian govt. that is not willing to set up high-speed internet.

Our gov in Oz is trying to set up high speed optical internet to the home... however the conservative opposition has been non-stop bitching about it. And they look set to win the next election.

The luna-right do not understand the importance of major projects to keep the economy afloat in tough times.
