Excited about my new software (I Copy DVDs 2) and the prospect of actually burning a DVD, imagine my dismay when I found that the recommended "patch" for I Copy, DVD43FREE, does not work with my OS - Win98SE. Now, please don't flame me for using an old OS....my system works fine (Gateway Select Athlon 750; 120gb and 20gb hdds, 256 ram).
Has anyone tried a different decryption tool? If so, how do I integrate it into I Copy?
Thanks.

Actually, that is what I did, but I can't seem to open the files I have on disk with ICopy. On my system I have an ICopy icon on the desktop, but there seems to be no way to access any menus or drop downs.
When I go to start - programs; I don't see any folder or icon for ICopy. I even tried uninstalling/reinstalling.
Any ideas? Also, have you tried ICopy with Decrypter? How is it?
Thanks

You can use DVD43 v2.0.0.71 with Windows 98, however, it is not freeware! Yes, DVDDecrypter will work successfully with ICOPYDVDs2 but it takes a little more effort. I have used both DVDDecrypter and DVD43 v1.4 with ICOPYDVDs2 and have found that DVD43 is faster and easier but I am using XP as my platform and have lots of HD space (160 gigs)
Good luck to you and if you have problems with using DVDDecrypter with ICOPYDVDs2 just post and I'll try to help out.

With decrypter, try ripping in file mode.

Maybe you ripped in ISO mode. So try ripping in file mode to see if ICopy will open them.
To rip in file mode, open decrypter -> click mode -> File F

nudenuttz,
How about you try being a little more specific?

nudenuttz,
Still pretty broad, but here goes.

Make it work in what way? DVD Shrink will rip, compress and encode .. it will not burn on it's own. It will burn with Nero or DVD Decrypter.

You need a program that will burn video_ts files.

How can you tell? How big is the file? Did you use compression?
Again need to be more specific. I mean look at your first post.

I almost answered. Tried the file thing with what? What software did you download? Try Propecia :) It would be helpful if you posted the programs your using and the steps.
