trextang, Matrix disks are great. I've used about 250 of them over the last 3 months, and they've all played and burned perfectly. The ones i'm talking about are the newest generation Matrix disks shop4tech is selling here: http://www.shop4tech.com/user.htm?go=view_item&id=1600&cata=&s_cata=
Apparently, some of the older Matrix disks were iffy or hit and miss but everything i've read on the newest generation Matrix disks is great, including my experiences as well. Fasfrank and jsmith11 also haven't had any issues. What's really great is the 8x disks are only .59 each for 100 pack, and i've read those are just as great. When these run out i'm probably gonna buy the 8x Matrix disks.
MATRIX IS CRAP> ive had ones that work and ones that dont..
but you cant count on them to work.. so definately dont buy them, They make about 20 different kinds, and ive tried probobly 4 or 5 of them. so far they all sucked except one.. and i wasnt smart enough to figure out it was the media and not my burner at first.
go with ritek.. or prodisc or TY or something else.
