yes. can be done with a piece of cardboard & tape, tinfoil shaped to slide over the kinect(if like an logitech webcam) or even a piece of electrical tape. don't forget it might have builtin mic.

Just don't put a pirate patch over it or someone will be knocking on your door.

MS has sold about 75 million 360 consoles and predicts another 25 million console sales in the next 5 years. Not sure what their wholesale numbers are but there gross is in the billions of dollars.

So....These greedy f..ks feel like it's necessary to 'lock down' the next generation AND implement a used game restriction scheme.

What I would love to see happen is millions of store returns from consumers after realizing they have to have a broadband contract just to play COD.

... or better yet, when they go to rent a game, only to find out that rentals don't exist.

got to give MS credit. They listened to us and realized they weren't going to sell many of the xbones. Apparently there was a poll on Facebook through Amazon asking users to vote on which console. Votes were something like 20k to 2k in favor of the ps4. MS's decision made me do a 180. I would purchase it now. Just got a new MW3 edition 360 though to replace my aging elite. My backlog is so deep anyhow. Let them get the bugs out. I'll prob pick up an xbone xmas time 2014.

Xbox I love you. Thanks your for all of the great times we've had. However, I cannot follow you there. It starts off with light restrictions and some Internet connectivity and perhaps small fees, but like government and taxes, it will increase and might even spread to other things besides gaming platform when other companies see how you can get away with it, they'll want to do the same. Your requirement are absurd. I can't support that. I've already support paying for Xbox live , I stood by you through the red ring of death scandal, but this is some bullshit. I'm sorry to say I'm leaving you for play station, but your leaving me no option. Damn it!!!!
