A report suggests that Apple is thinking about following Samsung's lead and releasing iPhones with larger screens, as well as cheaper handsets. According to Reuters sources, Apple is considering releasing two iPhones with larger screens measuring 4.7-inches and 5.7-inches. Ooooo a fingerprint scanner....yawn. Do you really need that crap on your phone? A plastic case?? These are new innovations?? Come on, how about making a phone that's screen doesn't shatter after being dropped 2 feet huh.

well, apple does not charge for the case, IMO, they do for their OS, premium design and look. never owned an apple product myself (my wife has video ipod and ipod touch) but i would if my jobs could be done with OS X/iOS; unfortunately, it can't be as of now.

I do not believe the report. I cannot see Apple cater to investors. While I do believe they will issue an alternative device to developing regions, I cannot see them introducing a lower end model to markets that flourish with their "premium" brand. It would hurt margins.

If they don't release larger phones they are doomed. Ipad mini was said to never be done . But they did it and to be honest it's the best small form factor tablet. Fanboy alert !
