The world's largest phone maker, Samsung, will be spending a huge sum to upgrade their R&D capabilities. Samsung will be building five new R&D centers around Korea over the next three years, spending $4.5 billion to do so. Very good investment. This is why they are #1.

But...10,000 people for just design?! Even for their entire product line up (laptops, phones, computers, tablets)...that's a little too much.

Samsung make a lot more than just those things.

Its a lot easier being righteous than right.

While my S4 does have a plastic backing that looks cheap it is not your average abs plastic. I can fold it in half, twist it, etc, almost indestructible. It's high tech, but definitely need a better look.

oh i suppose they make tv's? DVD/Bluray players, Surround sound, Washing machines E.T.C lol. yes samsung has fingers in many pies other than Phones and computers
