Apple can't hold back innovation...they can only sue to block import and sales of certain products, and those products are ancient by the time the case is over. You know what would be really grand? If Google fought back...just think...if the new iPhone had no google maps, gmail, translation, or any of the other google apps that make the iPhone almost as good as an android (ignoring cost and performance) and all their websites blocked iDevices...and they made it known the night before launch while all the iDiots were waiting in line! That would do FAR more damage to Apple than any court case.

All the features that Samsung had to take out of my Note2's firmware is back in by rooting, ROMing, and simply using an alternate launcher. Go $crew yourself, Apple. The irony is ridiculous! The device that really started everything for Apple was the iPod, a device design that Apple blatantly stole from Creative Labs and were found guilty of doing so.
The old adage was " Crime is not in committing it, it is in getting caught". The modern one, at least for the US should be " Crime is not in committing it, it is in not having the judges and politicians in your pocket."
