better yet ... get Platinum RF(ripper free)

Why RF(ripper free)? ... Because RF is the most current version and the browse button works, so your able to burn movies(video_ts files) saved on your HD. And along with a patch called 321rip, Platinum RF becomes a ripper version again :)

To get Platinum RF ... e-mail support@321studios.com, give them your current license and password, and make sure you ask them to issue you a new ripper free license. Once you've installed RF, get 321rip(download and execute the patch).

ok i emailed 321 studios and asked them to do what you said and the replied back with:
Dear Customer,
As of the 27th February 2004, we have suspended the availability and
sale of our products. This was done to comply with injunctions recently
placed on us by Federal courts in California, and New York.

These injunctions prevent us from supporting, manufacturing,
distributing or trafficking any DVD circumvention software. While we
disagree with the decisions and have filed appeals, we are law abiding
citizens and will fully comply with the order.

Currently, we may no longer support your product. However, you will
still be able to activate your program online. If you are having
problems getting the activation to go through, a few things could be
wrong.

Please check the format of the short date in your computer.
To do this, open the Regional Settings/Options in your Control Panel.
Make sure that the short date is set to mm/dd/yyyy otherwise the
activation will not work.

Please be sure that you are using your correct License ID and Password.

1) MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE ONLINE WHEN YOU TRY TO ACTIVATE.
2) DISABLE your firewall if you experience problems when you try to
activate.
3) If you are an international customer, MAKE SURE THAT THE DATE on your
computer is the same as it is here in the USA.
(The date needs to be set to the date in the USA in order to make the
Activation work. You can reset it to the correct date after activation.)

If the problems you are experiencing are with your product due to the
recent court injunction, and the current legal proceedings 321 Studios
can no longer lawfully offer you support.

Is there another way to do it?

bobdo,

To get Platinum RF, you would have to buy a Platinum version. But it's not worth it, you might have activation problems.

Try the free programs, DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter ... or give DVD Rebuilder(free) w/ CCE Basic($58) a try.
