ok.. i've gone through a million threads on afterdawn.com and got myself through a few problems.

i have movies on my computer in avi. format that i'd like to burn on to a cd-r using nero 5 or 6 (i have both). so i downloaded an avi audio decompressor and TMPGEnc, and i can convert my avi. movies to mpeg just fine. but when i go to burn that on nero, nothing comes out on the cd!!! i open nero, i drag over the new mpeg file, i preview it (to make sure the picture and sound are both there), i press burn, write it at 8x (although it says 24x 10x 40x on my harddrive don't know what thats about), and then after it burns, i try to play the cd but there's nothing but folders on it!!! no movie.. just folders called CD1, EXT, MPEGAV, SEGMENT, and VCD.

why isn't nero burning my movies???? am i missing something here?? i've gone through all the necessary steps to prepare the burn. but STUPID NERO!!!

i have the following codecs if it'll help anyone fix my problem: ac3 filter, divx 3 and 5

PLEEASSEEEE HELP MEEEEEEEE

If you look at the WinAVI guide it also shows you how to burn, and it has a built in burner. :P Good luck
