ps3 4.46 cfw think bricked it

please help me my ps3 slim is on cobra cfw 3.55 tried to put on DvLzTeam 4.46 CFW v2.00 and DvLzTeaM 4.41 and installed update got to about 21 percent then ps3 turned off and now will not turn back on ,have I bricked it can I unbrick it thanks

well.... try recovery menu to see if you can still install a different cfw... as for cfw don't install unknown cfw... either rebug or rogero would be fine really.... what you should have done is install normal 3.55 and do a QA flag that at least could have saved you with a compatibility with other cfw... anyway... a brick cannot be fixed... unless you have a flasher and even then you should have made a copy of the nor chip before installing a cfw... shame really.... if only you came here before installing it i could have told you what to do...

hi tried to get in recovery mode but cant, reformatted hdd still powers up for 2 secs then off

Does it get the YLOD?
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

it should.. green yellow 3 beeps red blinking that's what you get when you flash cfw that's not been tested.. using multiman and doing flash backup before installing cfw is the best...

it can be reflashed... but you need a backup of it first... lol plus you also need a flasher...

nope super slim cant run cfw... you messed up the flash that's why the ps3 cant boot right... see the ps3 has this chip... its only 16mb not big... but it holds the right info to boot up the ps3... even if you pull the hdd out it will still work... the problem is once that chip goes bad either to damage or bad flash the ps3 cant boot... and to do a backup in it state only a flasher can do those cost around 80 bucks... and even then no telling in what state the flash is in... that's why you do backups before installing a cfw... and no getting a different backup from another ps3 will only make it worse..

Yeah these guys need to really do some research before going around and flashing any custom firmware they see. The Only firmware I trust is Rogero and Rebug. Even those I don't go and flash right away until about a few weeks when other users test it out first.
