Sony has confirmed that the PS4's camera will support voice and gesture control. Unlike Kinect, the PlayStation Camera is not bundled with the PlayStation 4 (PS4) consoles as Sony made the decision to keep the price lower. At least the Eye is more competitively priced than Kinect: but I personally just don't care for voice/gesture controls myself or my family. It's not that much faster to navigate menu's, and it takes away the need to read what you wish to access if you know to just say it. That app they have for PS4 they showed off at TGS looks cool, and no doubt my youngest would love to interact with cutesy WALL-E type robots: but I see no value outside of that. Once the app loses its appeal, then you are lift with an undervalued gimik again.
