Samsung completed their annual analyst day in South Korea today, and there was certainly some interesting news to be had.

4K phones? Really. 4K is nice and all but on a 3-8" screen is unnecessary. Heck you cannot hardly tell (or tell at all) 4K on most TVs unless you get right up on the screen.
Now gimme a 200" TV with 4K and maybe you got something but on a phone it is a marketing gimmick

when the difference between 720p and 1080p (from the same source) can not be practically observed unless you get closer than 5 ft, how do we expect to see a remarkable difference with 4K? come on, we are not aliens; human eyes cannot see less than ~ 60 micron.
now, expect a 12" phone w/ 4K. another marketing gimmick (followed by fiasco), LOL.
