I'm going to assume it's not just for Roku 3, since the Roku 2 runs the same software?

The blog post specifically stated the launch for Roku 3, and the timeframe for the 2 was not stated, which I find strange as well.

Great. Instead of getting rid of the unbelievably awful feature where the credits of a movie zoom into a tiny box, now they zoom into an even tinier box.
