Cheap alternative to print-on CD/DVD Media

For those with printers that will allow you to print right on the media like the Epson R300 printers, don't bother spending a high premium for special printable media.

Just take regular DVD/CD labels and put them on the DVD/CD media before you put them in your printer. So far I've used this with great results.

that seems a bit pointless to me as i got my r200 printer so i no longer had problens with labels peeling off in my cd player

The R200 rocks and the printable media isn't really more expensive, just impossible to find in regular stores.

and another thing thats pointless about that.. is that defeats the whole purpose or having a dvd media printer.

You can print labels with any printer and the right software..

the reason you dont want to use labels is because it will affect how they play in some dvd players. Labels make some of them skip etc..

plus if you want awesome inket printable dvd's for cheap buy these prodiscs, you can print down to the hole with great quality. and the media is awesome, just as good quality as ritek. and only 50 cents each

ive also got the r200 a week or two after it came out and its pretty awesome.
