Apple continued its U.S. dominance for the quarter ended October, with 40.6 percent share for its market leading iPhone. Samsung took second at 25.4 percent share, followed by Motorola, HTC, and LG to round out the top five. Not exactly a fair comparison as Apple is the only IOS vendor. If Samsung was the only android vendor they would blow Apple away.
