The director has confirmed that the script for the upcoming blockbuster was just recently completed.
"We're working really hard and we've got our script and we're in deep prep," Abrams noted, "full steam ahead, y'know."

Regarding "intimate scenes" on an IMAX camera...........isn't that why producers that use the IMAX cam still use a traditional formatting when "intimate" scenes are the focus on the screen?
Like in the Dark Knight.......scenes panning out far use the IMAX cam but scenes where two people are talking use a normal view.
Probably just a kop out from using the IMAX camera which is 300,000 dollars and there are only 3 in the world........one of which was actually broken while filming the Dark Knight on lower Wacker Drive in Chicago.

Good insight. I noticed that too when watching.
Yeah...that took me like 4 movies in IMAX before realising that they are switching the camera views. Thought I was imagining for a while there.

Now come on, those movies weren't that bad. It's just hard knowing the ending ahead of time, and I'll admit I tolerated the childish Anakin, but it's part of the story that had to be told to get to where they ended up.
I just wish they did more puppetry and less CGI, because LOTR looked more realistic, and that was another turn off to some people.
