Hey, i was just wondering, about how much would it speed up my processing if i added a P4 (1.7Ghz) with 256MB RAM currently running Windows 95, to help my PC (Read Sig for specs)

I've been wondering about this also. Vurbal discusses this with the RB Farm application here: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/dvd_rebuilder_tutorial_advanced_page_8.cfm

It looks like you would double the performance, i.e., cut processing time in half.

Let us know how it goes.

I've never tried running CCE in Windows 95, but barring any problems with that I'd say it would definitely help. I've personally used as many as 4 PCs for encoding, although I usually stick to 2 or 3 since one of them is a laptop and one is my wife's. With my P4 2.4 and an Athlon 900 I reduce the encode speed by about 1/3. In your case I would think it would be a much bigger improvement.
