article published on 24 February, 2014

Samsung has unveiled their Galaxy S5, a rehauled version of last year's successful S4, and next progression of the popular line of devices. The company has increased the screen size to 5.1 inches, kept the 1080p Super AMOLED display but added a plethora of new features. Under the display is a new home key with a fingerprint scanner, and under the camera is a heart rate monitor, adding ... [ read the full article ]

Sadly, it's still going to have that horrible touchwiz and all of Samsung's bloatware garbage. I'll gladly pass and wait for the new iPhone.

How was GS4 development? I know after the bootloader was unlocked on the GS3 it was the perfect development scene. Tons of options: stock, AOSP, cyanogen, AOKP, ParanoidAndroid (tablet hybrid), etc.

Even if you only get root at least bloat is gone. And some themes can help with babies first android (touchwiz).

iPhone.... Another phone that never changes. Maybe Apple with step into 2012 and bring us a 12mp camera. Apple Is a follower not a leader. They brought to market one of the coolest phones ever, then have done nothing with it.

I don't really get excited with new phones after owning the Nexus 5, is something wrong with me or is there other N5 owner feeling the same way?

Its a lot easier being righteous than right.

I have read many comments about the WOW factor, for this phone, and the Iphones, but in actual fact, the wow is the fact that the internals are better, the functions better. yes wireless charging, but what more can they do with a phone to make/give it a WOW. My mate has a Note 3, which looks good and has a great experience, so what for the Note 4 that could give it a WOW.

Yeah.....none of us are surpised NEWB.

Stick with your IPhone meant for sheeple. Less power, nothing innovative what-so-ever!

And I love how you (Like so many others) say "I'll wait for the new IPhone" and then are like SO MANY OTHERS that realise it's almost the exact same thing you just replaced.

IPhone owners are blind superfools!........almost all of them.

Why is everyone acting like wireless charging is new, especially to Samsung? My wife and children's "old" S3's have it as does my relatively old Note2. Just open the back cover and look, it's there. I imagine it is on the S4 and S5 as well, unless Samsung has deemed this to be old tech.

Way to put off new members.

It's one thing to have a go at Apple but if you want others to come around to your way of thinking don't make it personal. At least not initially...

Its a lot easier being righteous than right.
