What would be the right moves? By focusing on good execution of software and services, while newer technologies like VR gaming might be worth avoiding for now.

silee1, like i said before i don't have a game console & never have nor do i want 1. i don't even play games on my computers as i use them as tools to work on customers' computers & research for my model warships. haven't even played solitaire in years which is how i learned to use windows back in ver 2 or 3 in the early 90's.

I'm hoping the PS4 does better than the XBone, simply because I dislike M$, and more specifically how they handled the system's launch, so I'm pretty biased. Well? What are you saying, that I didn't already..? I simply don't see it. In fact, what's being said online is that while there was an initial difference, that's rapidly disappearing as developers learn to code for the XBone. Again, this is a reversal of the XBox 360/PS3 paradigm.
You probably should be a little more subtle, by the way, when making a new account; you're not fooling anyone. Nor is indirectly calling a mod a liar a particularly good idea on any forum. Don't get in pissing matches with mods, especially ones as active as ddp. It's not like he's a tyrant, no matter what you think at the moment.

You should be careful when posting like you know what youre talking about, youre not fooling anyone. Nor is defending your Afterdawn buddies a good idea on this forum. We see right through you. Dont start defending your buddies like that, especially when they got the power to ban YOU. It's not like he has more power than other mods. But consider that other mods are reading whats going on and they got more power than ddp to ban both of you. Tihnk about it.

I notice that you quite blatantly have no response to my post, beyond more silliness. Perhaps I use too many polysyllabic words for you? I'd apologize, but I actually don't give a damn if you are afflicted with brain cramps by having to actually read.
In response to your further rantings, I'm not worried at all, silly git. I certainly have been warned by mods here at times, and rightfully so when it happened, but guess what? I do this thing called "listening", and I modify the actions that caused the warning, if it happens. You really ought to try it; it's why I'm a "Senior Member", and you're still a "Newbie". That certainly does not mean I'm better than you, but it does demonstrate I haven't ever been banned from AD.
You're also not going to be able to use nonexistent censure by mods you are quite obviously NOT on good terms with to scare me, bucko, especially since you've already been banned once in this thread alone.
Nor is ddp particularly my buddy (or enemy). I'm pretty sure that I made it clear that I found it amusing; so did my wife, in fact. I like little more than inveigling a troll into completely revealing him/herself in all their *cough* "glory".
That said, I'm NOT going to apologize for making (non-profane) responses to any given posts that are directed at me. Whether or not it was a waste of my time is for me to judge, no one else =) . Furthermore, it's not like I didn't repeatedly warn the sot about what was going to happen, now is it?
Anyone who thinks they're going to make hay by trolling AD is simply a fool, nothing more; as I said, this is not 4chan. If he makes another account and continues to rage, the next step will simply be deleting his posts, I'd guess.

Wow all this over two systems that are trying to be better than a computer in speed and specs.
And better as multimedia/ social center for the home. not to ruffle any feathers but its not how good the system is but how playable the stuff is on the system, the harder it is to play stuff the less likely people are to buy it because a new form of word of mouth can make or break a system . Why do you think ms has all them young and hip stars hocking theirs system on tv " ooh the Keenan and peel play xb1 so it must be good" lol

ddp im shocked honestly.
The not owning a game console is fair enough if you don't play games but i thought the curiosity of game consoles would of had you trying to mod/hack/patch them or fix them or even try to write programs for them or modify software to run on them.
Here in australia some computer business also do modding and repairs on game consoles.
I havn't actually played the new xbox or the ps4 1 day i might get 1 if i like them,for now there are limited number of games & bugs that will be detected and hopefully fixed in the future,also the price will drop on both consoles.
custom built gaming pc from early 2010,ps2 with 15 games all original,ps3 500gbs with 5 games all original,yamaha amp and 5.1channel surround sound speakers,46inch sony lcd smart tv.

xboxdvl2, i've attempted to fix a ps3 slim once for a customer's daughter whose dog peed on the console. corroded the keyboard & keyboard data cable & couldn't find replacements off ebay as this was different from normal ps3 slim.
