I wonder if it can play movies in iso format like my wdtv. I know it doesn't say it supports iso, but the wdtv never said it supported iso either.

Looks pretty good but I can still see some tough competition from the roku and Apple still has yet to release theirs.

Ive spoken with Amazon support and it doesnt look like it can handle ISO natively. I will have my unit tomorrow and can test it, however.

Looking forward for your review. Been searching for a decently priced device to replace my Boxee Box. Got a WDTV, not that impressed with its smoothness/menu...

It would great to hear your experience with it and if ISOs do work.

It's Android-based yep, though so are Kindle tablets and Amazon exercised quite a bit of control over the ecosystem on those... but ye, being Android it should be fairly easy to tinker with.

Im really looking forward to what the android community will be able to do with this thing. Getting root and creating their own channels would be great.

Amazon giving ROKU a run for their money ! I'm impressed with my ROKO but it would be nice if they could give us users a break on movie rental prices. I'm paying the same for new movie releases ($4.95/ $5.95 HD) that I pay for them through my AT&T Uverse Plan and I can watch them over and over for two days on AT&T !

After watching a couple of reviews on YouTube I say save your money. The only difference between this and Roku or Apple TV is voice command and some real cheesy game playing. The voice only works for searching movies on amazon search. If you go into Netflix or other apps you have to use the remote like all other media streamers. I will stay with Roku and Playon.
