Hello everybodyy,
Can somebodyy explain, please how CD-R media is different when you record audio and data on it? I am not talking about CD-R for Audio. I am not talkin about the amount of data that one can record on a CD-R depending onthe type of data that ois being recorded (data or audio). I am talking about the same disc and how it can be different when one records data on it and on a separate disc audio... May be I should put it this way: Can a CD-R be good for data and not good for audio and the other way around? If so - why and how?

Don't forget that audio is still data.. Usually.. CD-R are good for both audio or data. If you buy a known media (Maxell, Memorex, TDK, Fujifilm, Ritek, Verbatim, Imation, Sony) etc.. you aren't supposed to have problems =)

Phys,
thank you for your reply. That's what I thought too audio - is data too. Well too a crtain degree as the way it is written is different from data data. Or is it?... It is just that I had a conversation with someone the other day and they told me: "you know a disc may be good for writing data on it, but it may not be just as good for writing audio files on"...
Now that sounds bizarre to me.. Any one else have any thoughts?...
Cheerio...
