Oppo made the Find 7a superphone available for pre-order today, and it quickly sold out but there appears to be some back in stock as of writing.
In addition to the great spec sheet, Oppo is also including a free blue Easy-Cover (similar to Samsung flip covers), an extra 2,800mAh battery and a 32GB microSD card (valued together at $80).
The Find 7a has a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a ... [ read the full article ]

Guess there is a lot of demand for this item. It does look pretty damn good though. Really love the "thermal coating to dissipate all heat" so it sounds like this phone with be easy to hold even while playing intense games for hours, unlike the HTC One which can get quite irritating to hold in your hand from just messaging for too long.
I laugh my ass off at this as I'm planning to buy one also but the Find 7, more expensive version BUT.........ANYONE buying into this as a preorder is a MINDLESS FOOL!
I'm gonna wait a few months and what is now 499/599 will soon be 399/449 respectively soon enough.

No way the Find 7 can be had for $200 on eBay in the next 6 months.

Not within a month or two right? I sold my Galaxy S3 after almost a year and a half for $300.
Then you found a sucker. Don't believe me? Check out the prices for the S4 on eBay. You can often find one for $200-250 (prices drop any time a new model comes out), if you're persistent. Prices have been pretty stable for a good while.
Also, I said another month or two, after the period hearme0 was already going to wait. In other words, a total of 5-7 months after launch.
If you decide to argue against my actual point - that you might as well buy it used, if you're going to wait at all - then I think you're going to have a tough time. No matter how long you wait, a used phone will pretty much always be cheaper than a new unit, after all, barring clearance sales, package deals, and the like for new units (which are basically unpredictable, if they happen at all) and rank usury by sellers of old units =) .

Well prices were consistent with Swappa at the time I sold it. I would definitely look at used if I wasn't in a contract I'm happy with. I bought my LG G2 new 2 months after it was released for $0.00. If they had allowed it I would have gotten $50 back after the coupon but unfortunately they do not. A month later the S4 was on sale for free as well after coupon for some deal.
