Four major music companies have joined Hollywood studios in seeking to have Kim Dotcom's assets frozen while the case against the Megaupload founder proceeds. The artist doesn't even make that much when the record co. is involved and representing.

Apparently tho, the artists didn't even make as much as Dotcom did. So much for doing it just for the principle of sticking it to the big bad record companies.
