Well, there is a Buy 1 Get 1 Free Sale at Costco. Well the TDK DVD-R says the model/make is R47CCB25TP and it is made in Taiwan. I don't know whether the quality is good. At http://digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm it says the type of good TDK discs are the TDKG02 and the TTG01. If anyone bought it from Costco or know about the quality of the disc, can you please inform it? Thanks in advance. Oh yeah, I know that Riteks are like the best but I'm not old enough to have a credit card to buy the Riteks online. Plus my parents don't want to buy online. So I'm sorta in a bad position. Well thanks for reading it.

I've been using The TDK-R4x ever since they (CostCo) had them in stock without any problems. I use a Medion desktop and also a Gateway LT with an external TDK-880n writer/reader. They've been good for me. I was using Verbatim Digital Movie discs on my Gateway LT and they kept freezing. But the Verbatim's work great with my Medion desktop. Go figure!! I'll stick with what works best for my application. Good Luck!!

Even the best companies can have bad media. I've heard stories about people using the worst/cheapest media without a single problem.

Go to DigitalFAQ.com and read what they say about the TDKGO2 and the TTG01. You may like what you read.
