Major retailer Costco has begun offering iPhones and iPads, each with significant discounts.
The company's Mobile Online Store is already selling the devices and the club warehouses will see the devices tomorrow.
Costco has the AT&T, Sprint and Verizon versions of the iPhone 5s for just $78 on contract, a nice discount off the $199 you will be paying if getting the phone through the carriers.

I'm definitely not an iCrap fan but for that price it is a pretty good deal, depending on the terms of the plan you signup for.

I've always liked the Surface variants of tablets so I'd love to have the "ASUS Transformer Book TX300" as I require larger screen sizes and you get an i7 instead of a quad Atom for the "ASUS Transformer Book T100", but both are great and you would have longer battery life on the T100's. Both come with a great ASUS IPS screen and being able to use them as a Tablet or as a Laptop is huge. I'm not a Windows 8 fan but this is what 8's true design was for and more and more apps you find on iOS or Android platforms are coming to 8RT.
I'm a big fan and will get one in the near future.

And what country have you been living in that makes you say "depending on the terms".
Please............terms are terms in this industry. Sign up for 2 years and DO NOT CANCEL or there will be a hefty opt-out charge pushing 350 bucks, PERIOD

Why did this offend you? Not all terms are two years and $350, although most deals are two year terms that is not set in stone and I certainly can't speak for everyone in the US as you seem to assume to. You know what they say about those who ASSume don't you.....
Lighten up and try to have a good day.

Thanks Misters! :)
Sorry to take so long replying.
Well, the cheapest I can get hold of a T100 is AU$475 so you can imagine what a T300 i5/i7 would cost in Oz. Not sure I want to spend that much... guess I'll have to think about it more. I may end up going for a touchscreen lappy as the specs seem better (than the T100) for just a little more. I'll get in contact for your opinions if I see one I particularly like. Did see one where the keyboard can go all the way around and it acts as a ordinary tablet. It's for my missus but she seems keen to wait till other things get sorted first and I am feeling like we are on the cusp of something but not sure exactly what... OLED perhaps, maybe better GPUs?
I liked the video links but the Bay Bridge Atom CPU is 64 bit instruction set not 32bit. Maybe they installed 32bit Win8.1 because it uses less room on the T100s "64 gig" onboard storage.

It's not RT either, in case yous thought it was. Not sure about the T100's only 2gig RAM too. I mean... really?
I googled that Transformer Book Duet TD300 and it looks great but it appears they've been removed from sale... something to do with Google objecting to them. Perhaps that's been sorted.
Thanks for taking an interest... I'll be in touch.
Cheers,
Jem

If you looking for a good deal:
Then you can ask for "OpenBox" products. has many stores offer that option for the people who ask. They are the 30 days returns but "new" merchandize.
Some Cities have "Open Box Stores" they collect items from many places and resale them back. Usually a 50% off.
You will know right right away what is or is not a good deal, according of what you looking for.
Good luck.

Cheers, I'll give it a go but I haven't seen it in Oz. You can't return something in Oz if you change your mind... unless it's store policy. 50% off... sure that's not "refurbished"?

In U.S. we have a 30 days return policy in general. But in very few items like open CD's, DVD's, etc. the return have to be in exchange for the same-one. unless the second time return is due ...by Factory defect products (Bad press, etc.) then you get your money back.
....maybe a very small % of them are refurbished.
