Apple has received European clearance for its $3 billion acquisition of premium headphone maker Beats Electronics. The European Commission says the merger "did not raise concerns because the combined (headphone) market share of Apple and Beats Electronics is low." No legit headphone manufacturer cares about "competition" from Beats. The only way they "compete" is in how to offer the lowest-quality dreck for the highest prices. Not one of their offerings is worth even a third the asking price.
